‘Project Runway’ star Anthony Williams will be featured in an annual fashion show in Vail, Colorado. The fashion show, which will be held on March 23, 2011, is actually a benefit show for the Vail Valley Medical Center.

Williams went to Vail, Colorado recently to meet up with the team comprising the Vail Valley Medical Center Volunteer Corps. to discuss the details of the upcoming show.

According to the event organizer, Anna-Maria Ray, they are honored to feature William’s collection in the show. She also said that for the upcoming spring fashion show they wanted to go extra notch and feature a celebrity designer. Usually, the event only features the works of local designers, stores and models.

Williams will be custom-designing his evening collection for the show. Models from Vail Valley will be projecting the works of Ailliams in the runway. As for other local designers, the Vail Charm School Boutique will be showcasing their ready-to-wear collection.

Anna-Maria Ray, the chair for the 2011 fashion show, said that Anthony has a great point of view when it comes to designing. The inclusion of Anthony in the show will have the audience as well as other participants with a glimpse of what is happening in the fashion world of New York and Paris.

Some of the works of Anthony Williams includes custom designed gowns of ‘Project Runway’ host Heidi Klum. He has also designed gowns for actress Jessica Alba.
